Zonta Club Scholarship

Zonta Scholarship at Ngee Ann Polytechnic was set up in 1991 at the 20th Anniversary of Zonta Club Singapore. As part of the celebrations, a fund raising dinner was held to setup the endowment fund. From then on, a Zonta scholarship is awarded to needy female students in the engineering field at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. This is in keeping with one of the objectives of the Zonta, which is the promotion and improvement of the welfare of women in education. The scholarship is administered by Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Applications for the scholarship should be made to the Polytechnic directly.

Financial Assistance for Bowen Girls

For a number of years prior to Project Pari, Zonta Club of Singapore was providing financial assistance to Bowen Secondary School girls. Selection of the students was done by the school.  Zonta Club of Singapore provides a small sum of money to the girls on a monthly basis throughout the school year. Club members also meet up with the girls occasionally to get to know them, and for the girls and the school staff to better understand Zonta Club.
